1. General
This online shop is operated by SANCCOB (Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds).
These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, customers and users of our online shop.
We reserve the right to update or amend these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will apply to orders placed after the updated terms have been published.
2. Products and Product Information
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, prices and other information displayed on our online shop are accurate and up to date.
However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device or screen settings.
Products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue products or change product availability without prior notice.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on our online shop are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be made in full when placing an order. We accept the payment methods made available through our Shopify checkout.
An order will only be processed once payment has been successfully received and confirmed.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or other inaccuracies. If an incorrect price has been displayed, we will contact you before processing the order and provide you with the available options.
4. Orders
Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation.
The order confirmation does not necessarily guarantee that the order can be fulfilled if an item becomes unavailable due to stock discrepancies or other unforeseen circumstances. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Please ensure that all delivery and contact information provided during checkout is correct. We cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We currently offer shipping locally within South Africa and to neighbouring/border countries.
We are currently looking into expanding our shipping options to accommodate international orders.
If you are located outside our current shipping areas and would like to place an international order, please contact us at shopct@sanccob.co.za and we will do our best to assist you with available shipping options and costs.
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, courier service and other circumstances outside of our control.
Any additional costs associated with international shipping, including customs duties, taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country, where applicable, are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Returns and Exchanges
We do not offer refunds on purchases.
We do, however, allow exchanges for a different size or for another item available in our online shop, subject to stock availability.
Items must be returned in their original condition, unused and with all original tags and packaging intact.
All courier and shipping costs associated with an exchange are the customer's responsibility, including the cost of returning the original item and the cost of sending the replacement item.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or you have received an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.
We will assess the issue and assist with an appropriate resolution.
8. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at shopct@sanccob.co.za.
Once an order has been processed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible. Any cancellation request will be considered based on the status of the order at the time the request is received.
9. Website Use
You agree to use our online shop only for lawful purposes.
You may not use our website in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the website or interfere with other users' access to the website.
Unauthorised use of the website, including attempts to gain access to restricted areas or systems, is prohibited.
10. Intellectual Property
All content displayed on the SANCCOB online shop, including logos, photographs, images, graphics, text, product descriptions and other materials, is owned by or licensed to SANCCOB unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable steps to ensure that our online shop operates correctly and that the information provided is accurate.
However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SANCCOB will not be responsible for losses or delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, delivery interruptions, technical issues or events outside our control.
Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

We respect your privacy and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
